The WebArat system has integrated requirements of two states:
- Slovak Republic:
- Law no. 69/2018 Coll. on cyber security and on amendments to certain laws and decrees
- Czech Republic:
- Law no. 181/2014 Coll. on cyber security and on changing related laws and decrees
“The basic objective of the Act is to increase the security of cyberspace, in this context to identify the relevant duties and responsibilities of obliged persons under the Act, to identify technical and organisational requirements for ensuring cybersecurity or to set up a mechanism for active cooperation between the private sector and the public administration in order to achieve greater efficiency in dealing with cybersecurity incidents.”
The European Union has already taken a number of measures to increase resilience and achieve better cyber security preparedness. A significant step has been the adoption of the Network and Information Systems Security Directives (NIS Directives). NIS Directives I and II are a major step towards fostering a risk management culture by introducing security requirements as legal obligations for key economic actors, in particular operators of essential services and suppliers of certain key digital services.
